Club Service A - Director JOE DUNCAN

Goals:

1. Set the stage for lively and fun meeting.
2. Introduce visitors and guests.
3. Recognize members who have become newsworthy.
4. Encourage members to stay for the entire meeting.
5. Schedule all committee members to serve as Sgt. at Arms throughout the year.
6. Help President keep meeting running smoothly.
7. Have fun and raise some money for the Salvation Army and Rotary Foundation!

Attendance – Chairperson RANDALL ROSS

Committee Members:

All members with 3 or more years perfect attendance.

Goals

1. Increase club’s average attendance percentage by 5% by July 2006.
2. Assign the sponsoring member to be mentor for each new Rotarian to encourage their attendance at meetings and involvement in club activities.
3. Contact each member who misses 4 meetings in a row.
4. Email website link for the Brand each week to club membership. (Linda Smith)
5. Conduct quarterly drawings for 100% attendance and award $50 toward their Paul Harris Fellowship.

Goals:

1. Inform the club of members who are ill, have had a death in the family, or who have passed away.
2. Inform the club of appropriate visitation of sick and grieving.
3. Send a card or note from the club to those who are ill.
4. Send flowers from the club for funerals.
5. Notify Sgt. at Arms and chaplain of those in need of thoughts and prayers.
6. Inform membership of those who are moving or leaving the club.

1. Enlist persons to lead in prayer at the weekly meetings and inform them to get a replacement if they cannot be present on the assigned date.
2. Cooperate with the Personal Concerns Committee to inform the club of prayer needs of fellow Rotarians.

Goals:

1. Support the President and District Governor in the accomplishment of their goals for the year.
2. Participate in a minimum of 6 activities such as Rotary Shrimp Fest, Friendship Golf Tournament, highway clean up, Meet Greet and Margarete.
3. Take the 4-way Test to local schools and help them implement the program.
4. Take new members to lunch and welcome them to Rotary.
5. Select the Rotarian of the Year.
6. Review by-laws and submit recommendations to the board for revision.

1. Grow membership by a net of 10% (11 members) by June 2006.
2. Develop, implement and evaluate a 5 year membership growth and retention plan.
3. Work with West and Sunrise clubs to develop and implement a cooperative Rotary membership recruitment plan.
4. Use proven membership growth and retention methods.

1. Update club website weekly with announcements, stories, photos and basic content.
2. Orient membership to club website.
3. Promote active use of club website by members.
4. Fully implement Rotary membership, accounting system and reporting system for club management.
5. Update and/or upgrade Executive Secretary’s hardware and software for effective club management.
6. Transition club communication to email to the maximum extent practical.
7. Post member statements for dues, assessments, meals, etc. by email as practical.

1. Hold annual Friendship Golf Tournament to which family, friends and members of the Sunrise and West clubs are invited.
2. Promote fellowship outside the weekly meeting.
3. Raise $3000 for the San Angelo Rotary Scholarship Fund .
